Nina is especially at home with early-stage tech companies, where curiosity, experimentation, and an ego-free approach tend to drive great outcomes. She is always reading and talking to people to discover the latest new approach to storytelling. 

Prior to Canvas, Nina held a variety of positions throughout tech and media brands including Coinbase, Airbnb, Trulia and Travelocity. At Coinbase, Nina ran Content and Creative Services, leading a team that created multimedia content about how crypto enables an open financial system for the world. Content she oversaw drove measurable revenue and leads across retail, institutional, and recruiting efforts. 

Nina served as Editor-in-Chief of Budget Travel and Time Inc’s ALL YOU (the #1 monthly magazine at Walmart) as well as an Editor for Travel + Leisure. Nina has appeared regularly as an on-camera expert for the Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show, E!, and local news stations around the country.

Nina grew up in San Francisco and enjoys skiing, hiking, and competitive Rummikub with her husband and two daughters. 

She holds a BA in English Literature from Columbia University.

Nina focuses on establishing—and consistently telling—a clear, compelling, and differentiated story about Canvas and its portfolio companies that resonates with early-stage entrepreneurs, investors, and the media. Nina has 20+ years of experience in positioning, marketing, and content development, spanning consumer technology, travel, real estate, fintech, and e-commerce. Her speciality is devising strategy and content that helps proactively drive external narratives in service of a company’s goals.
